These were my first discs I ever used. I still use the roc and aviar but the valk is almost useless at this point (after about the 30th time of getting thrown into a tree full speed at point blank). It’s a nice set, but in all honesty if you are new to disc golf you should just buy the aviar and roc on their own and use them until you are used to the sport a little more.

Good to learn with.

I bought these when I first started playing disc golf. They are good to learn with. The main problem with them is that they are made with cheap plastic and are not very resilient. This may not be a problem for you if you play on a grassy course. We play in the desert and after just a few rounds these discs were in pretty bad shape.

Decent Price. Good Quality. Excellent Product!

Great quality, very good for beginners and even some pros who want a few extra discs to toss around! I play in a heavily wooded area and these discs hold up excellent compared to some cheaper discs I’ve tried when they’re smacked into the trunk of a tree. Pretty durable. Really can’t find too big of a flaw in them. The bag is top-notch as well! Has enough room for around 6-8 discs max, and then some areas to put your markers in. It also has some netting on the side to store a small water bottle or sunscreen or whatever. Very pleased with purchase!

Great for the beginner who is worried of losing discs in water

A must have for anyone into disc golf if they are a beginner, or just someone who plays around bodies of water. I have lost multiple discs in a lake prior to purchasing these floating discs but now i just use a long stick to drag it over to the end or throw rocks past is to start ripples to push it back to the shore which has worked overtime but once as it was too far to get a stick too and also a heavy rock that would create ripples couldn’t be thrown that far so I had to go in after it but at least I did not loose it.

Best disc in this group

Best disc in this group, by far, is the Roc3. If you want an approach shot to go straight where you aimed, the Roc/Roc3 is perfect for this. The Teebird has always been a reliable driver for me. The Rhino is a great approach and/or putter because of it’s design and grip. Shipped very fast as always.

but equally good, brand)

This is the second set of discs I bought (other one was a different, but equally good, brand). The fly really well and, depending on how one throws, are accurately finding the ‘target’. Well designed product.

Economical introduction to a fun sport!

I haven’t had time to play a proper game yet, so I just took these to a nearby field and setup some targets. As a beginner to disc golf anyway, I found these to be very forgiving; the T-bird has great glide and it seems to work for me pretty well. I prefer the short game anyway. 🙂 The marker disc is a nice touch too.

I just got them today! Cannot be happier with the purchase. I’m new to the sport (I’ve only played 9 holes) and I’m super excited to have a set that I can call my own. Timely delivery and everything was in the box as promised in great condition. And with that, I’m off to the field to throw some plastic.

Need weight selections

 on January 7, 2018

This would be a much better package if you could pick your weights. I mainly picked this for the putter (my 7 year old vibram putter wasn’t cuttin’ it anymore), and the Roc3. The Valkyrie makes a good gift to my roommate, who is a beginner player. But the Roc3 came in at 180g, the max weight for that disc. The whole reason to get the Roc3 instead of a Roc is for the extra distance, but when the disc weighs 180, it might as well be a rock.

LOVE this started disc golf set. Perfect for beginners who only need the basic three to play. Such a great price and they will last forever. It is very funny game and are very happy. We bought two sets, one for each car.
