Good for 10-20 strikes before you can't see the new impression.
Easy enough to remove from a clean club.
The shape works well for irons and smaller drivers. Might not work for the full size or over-sized drivers.
Here is may theory of what happens when you hit a ball\ with the sticker on: Putting the sticker on a club face apparently alters the surface property. It makes the surface softer than the bare metal surface, i.e, the surface depresses a little bit to "hug" a ball. That lessens the distance the ball climb up the club face the moment after the impact. Because of this, two things happen: 1) the trajectory of the ball is lower, so the ball's carry is longer; and 2) because of the "hug" and the slippery surface created by the sticker, the ball has less backspin, so the ball rolls further than normal after it hits the ground. I think those two factors, which in fact is caused by the same factor, contribute to longer distance.
This is not a criticism or complaint. I was simply surprised with the fact that balls flew way more than they normally flew. I don't hit Sand Wedge and Pitching Wedge with full force, so I can tell the significant differences in flight.
I like the sticker and am looking forward to figure out how it can help me improve my golf especially my short game. I recommend this product for any level of golfers. How to use the results and findings is another matter, however.
I used the stickers with all my clubs. I found out I was hitting the ball with the heel with driver and fairway. I found out I was hitting the ball with the toe with my hybrid and irons. Impact was also very low on the clubs. I experimented with my posture and ball position and boom, with a few sessions I was hitting it higher, straighter, and longer.
I'm still inconsistent, but I have more admirable shots on any given round now than before.
