These pros missed the cut at the 2024 World Wide Technology Championship

LOS CABOS, Mexico – FedEx Cup points are a precious commodity these days as the 2024 season winds its way to a close.

Tiger Woods owns the longest consecutive cut streak with 142, one of those records that likely will never be broken, and on Friday, Chad Ramey channeled a bit of Tiger and grinded to make the cut on the number.

Ramey, who opened with 76 at El Cardonal at Diamante, rallied with three birdies in his final five holes, including a must-make at the last, to shoot 66 and squeeze his way into the weekend.

He ended up being one of 69 players at 2-under 142 or better.  They’re all chasing Colombia’s Nico Echavarria, who is seeking to win consecutive tournaments (with a week off in between). Not everyone could handle the swirling wind on Thursday or get the putts to fall on Friday.
